About the School
At Colégio da Beloura priority is given to the global development of students, contributing to their academic and personal training, keeping the focus on the individualisation of educational responses. Its mission is to educate autonomous, collaborative and responsible children, who grow up happy and contribute to a more sustainable planet and a more democratic society.
What distinguishes us
Colégio da Beloura invests in the comprehensive training of its students providing them with various and differentiating learning experiences. It favours active methodologies (project work and cooperative learning), encourages the involvement of families and promotes social impact actions in the community. It is a Forest school, and its students maintain regular contact with nature, taking advantage of natural outdoor places where they carry out practical experiments and learning, developing skills and aptitudes in several areas: autonomy, curiosity, self-confidence, creativity, risk-management, problem solving, and social skills (respect for others and mutual help).
Educational Offer
Colégio da Beloura intends to contribute to the education of its students through teaching of excellence, using current methodologies, instruments and technologies, respecting the individuality of each child and ensuring active participation in their educational path.
With an educational offer from the nursery to the primary, the aim is a continuity of processes and responses, which contribute to the integral development of children, always with a focus on personalizing educational responses.
