To Be Schools ‘educational projects offer complete, diverse and unique learning paths for their students.

When building their pedagogical and curricular projects, To Be Schools respects the pedagogical and curricular documents currently in practice in Portugal: Pedagogical Guidelines for Day Care (OPC), Curricular Guidelines for Pre-School Education (OCEPE), Student Profile at Exit from Mandatory Schooling (PASEO) and Essential Learning (AE), in the Primary and Preparatory school Teaching.

Pedagogical and Curricular Enrichment

In all areas, pedagogical and curricular enrichment is carried out with specific activities, projects, programmes and disciplines, led by specialised and experienced teachers, with the mission of educating students who respect fundamental values and carry out solid and meaningful learning, with a view to successful completion of academic careers.

Nursery (includes baby room)

  • Areas of experience and learning of Pedagogical Guidelines for Nursery + Specific pedagogical enrichment activities, with specialised teachers
  • Languages: Portuguese and English

Preschool

  • Content areas of the Curricular Guidelines for Early Childhood Education + Curriculum enrichment, with specialised teachers
  • Languages: Portuguese and English

Primary School

  • Base subjects of the national curriculum + Curriculum enrichment, with specialised teachers + Own subjects
  • Languages: Portuguese and English

Preparatory School

  • Base subjects of the national curriculum + Own subjects
  • Languages: Portuguese and English

Extracurricular Activities

As a curricular complement and to enrich students’ academic journey, To Be Schools have a wide range of extracurricular activities, in the areas of art (music, dance, theater), sports (martial arts, swimming, football, acrobatic gymnastics), experimental science , technology (programming, robotics), languages, chess and cooking, among others. We seek to ensure that each student can explore their unique interests and abilities, develop their maximum potential – emotional, social, physical and cognitive – and ensure personal fulfillment.
